When Eleanor and Sophia launched Sophos Education, one thing was clear: brilliant GCSE support shouldn't just be available to those who can afford private tutoring. Every student — no matter their background — deserves expert, engaging, and confidence-boosting teaching.

They’d seen the impact of one-to-one tutoring first-hand: students who went from struggling in silence to mastering exam technique, gaining top grades, and believing in their ability. But they also knew that traditional tutoring wasn't scalable or affordable for most families. So they set out to change that.

What started as two Cambridge graduates helping a few students after school has grown into a bold new vision: live GCSE classes led by expert tutors, brought to life with AI tools, visual resources, and a supportive online platform — all at a fraction of the price of private tuition.
