Tell us about yourself
Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about basketball and currently captain of my college team. It’s taught me a lot about discipline, teamwork and what it takes to keep improving; lessons I bring into tutoring as well. My aim is to create a motivating, informative and, most importantly, safe learning environment where there’s no such thing as a silly question! Whether you want to secure a 9 or build your confidence from a lower grade, I’m here to help you get there.

What do you love about tutoring?
I love being part of a student’s journey especially helping them go from confusion to clarity. There’s something rewarding about helping students get to their lightbulb moment without feeling overwhelmed. It’s not just about the subject; it’s about building confidence and showing students that they can do it.

What do you love about your subject?
What I love most about maths is that even if it doesn’t make sense at first, there’s always a method, a pattern or logic to be uncovered and once you find it, it can be really satisfying. The logic you learn in maths allows you to think clearly in all areas of life. I enjoy helping students realise that maths is more than numbers or formulas - it’s a tool kit for understanding the world around us.
